WEEK 1: On site SEO 101:

By the end of this module, you’ll understand:
How to make your website easy to navigate, and what you need to do to get your visitors past your homepage into the deeper pages of your website (where the money is made!)
How to make some basic SEO fixes for your: page titles, meta descriptions, images and product descriptions. ‘Cos let’s be straight here… if you’re not ranking you’re not banking!
Brand continuity matters. We’ll review your website and social media presence to make sure they all reflect your brand and attract your ideal customer.
Week 2: Build that list, yo!
If you’re not list building your competitors will leave you in the dust. There I said it. This week we’ll focus on creating a killer opt-in offer that compels visitors to your website to give you their email address. Yes! You can offer discounts and “be the first to know blah blah blah”, but c’mon. when was the last time you dropped an email for an offer that weak?
By the end of this module, you’ll understand:
Understand why it’s of critical importance that you build a list of subscribers, ASAP.
Understand the best places to position opt-in boxes, and understand the power of the dreaded pop-up.
Have tons of ideas for your lead magnet – i.e. the ethical carrot – that you’re going to dangle in front of your ideal customers to compel them to join your mailing list.
Week 3: Facebook marketing for fashion types
There is no denying that since going public Facebook have stuck two fingers up at the entrepreneurs who have taken the time to cultivate their community on the platform. Organic reach is lower than it’s ever been. And more and more businesses are struggling to justify the time investment it takes to make Facebook profitable for them. Week 7 – How to be in Fashion:PR 101
Times have changed. The days of hiring a model, stylist, photographer and MUA via their respective agencies is no longer the only way to create incredible campaigns for your brand. And thank heavens for that, because when you’re just starting out these campaign costs can obliterate your marketing budget in less than 24 hours and put yo ass in debt.
But you still gotta have fantastic imagery, right! And that’s where brand ambassadors and collaborations get you further, faster, than you could ever hope to achieve on your own. But that doesn’t mean traditional PR is dead. Far from it. It’s just evolved and changed, and as a fashion entrepreneur… it’s to your benefit.

You’ve covered a lot in the last 7 weeks, in this week we’ll review the challenges you had, things you got stuck with or think can improved, and this successes you’ve had with everything you’ve taken action on.
This week is all about tying up the last 8 weeks, taking stock of your progress, and preparing yourself to start working your plan of action. The great thing is, you’ll be able to stay connected with the new friends and network you made in the Fashion Fast Lane FB group.
